I used to just let my neighbor park his truck on my side of the property line, but after a 50 dollar towing bill last spring I finally put up a chain barrier

For two years I figured it wasn't worth the fight, but the towing fee and his nasty note on my windshield pushed me over the edge. Has anyone else let a small boundary issue slide for too long before it cost you money or peace?

I read a thing about some guy who put up a fake security camera after his neighbor kept using his driveway, and it turned into a whole feud with the HOA. Your chain barrier sounds way cleaner, probably saved you a headache down the road.

Your chain barrier sounds way cleaner" lol that's one way to put it. I'd say it's more like I finally built a moat after letting the neighbor park his castle in my yard for two years. That 50 bucks was the wakeup call I needed, honestly. Now I just stare at the chain from my kitchen window and feel way too satisfied about a piece of metal I bought at Home Depot. Next up, maybe I'll paint it bright orange just to really rub it in.
