I finally timed how long my neighbor's leaf blower runs every Sunday
It's exactly 47 minutes. Every single week, starting at 7:13 AM. I sat on my porch with my phone timer last weekend. He does the driveway, the sidewalk, then the gutters. No idea why gutters need leaf blower treatment. Has anyone else actually clocked their neighbor's noise?

That 47 minutes is way too specific to be an accident. I've noticed that people who do this kind of stuff at the exact same time every week are usually just following a routine they copied from their dad or something. It's like they don't even think about whether the gutters actually need it, they just do it because that's what Sunday morning is for. Makes you wonder what other little habits people have that drive everyone else crazy but they never notice.

Hold up, are we really trying to diagnose a guy over when he cleans his gutters? Seems like a pretty big leap from "he does it at the same time" to "this is some deep-seated family trauma manifesting as a chore." I mean, maybe the guy just really likes his 47 minutes of gutter cleaning because it's the only quiet time he gets all week. Let's be real, half the people I know can't even remember what day trash pickup is, so a dude being consistent with his house maintenance is the least weird thing going on.

Honestly @jade_singh you're spot on. I used to be super rigid about mowing every Saturday at 9 AM until I realized it was just the only time I could listen to my podcasts without interruptions, not some deep psychological thing.
