Bought a $200 security camera system after my neighbor's dog kept getting loose
Last month I finally caved and got a 4 camera setup from the hardware store after Randy's pit bull dug under my fence three times in one week. Cost me about $220 total with the DVR and cables, figured it was worth it to catch proof of the damage. First night it caught the dog digging a new hole at 3AM clear as day. Showed the footage to Randy and he actually fixed the fence the next weekend. Anyone else have cameras pay off with neighbor issues?

Wait, the footage caught him digging a new hole at 3AM? That's wild, I almost can't believe the camera picked that up so clearly in the dark. I mean, most cheap systems I've seen turn everything into a blurry mess at night, so getting clear proof like that sounds like a solid deal. Maybe it's just me but I'd be kinda freaked out watching a dog sneak around my yard at that hour, like some kind of horror movie. Good on Randy for actually fixing it though, a lot of folks would just shrug and say "not my problem.

Night vision's come a long way man, some of those cheaper cams are surprisingly clear now.
