Why did nobody warn me about the self-heating coffee mug?
Got one last Christmas and figured it was a gimmick, but after 2 weeks of use the thing keeps my coffee hot for 3 hours straight. Even left it in the car overnight and it still held warmth in the morning, which honestly creeped me out a little. Has anyone else had one die randomly after a few months, or am I just paranoid?

Did you ever leave a phone in a hot car and come back to a warning screen? That is what your mug story makes me picture, some little battery in there sweating it out all night. Mine has been going strong for about a year now, so maybe the random deaths people talk about come from the charging base getting bumped or unplugged.
