The hand-knitted toilet paper cozy my aunt swore was 'practical'

She gave me this thing with a crocheted lid and a slot to pull TP through, like the bathroom needed a sweater. It took me 20 minutes to get a roll in without ripping it, and then it just sat there holding dust for 6 months. Has anyone else gotten a gift that was somehow more work than just using the dumb object normally?
