That $30 universal remote I bought is now in the trash
Spent 30 bucks on a universal remote that claimed to work with everything. Couldn't even get it to sync with my TV after 2 hours of trying. Who else has wasted money on one of these?

Used to be a big defender of universal remotes, always thought people just weren't trying hard enough. Then I grabbed one of those cheap 30 dollar ones and spent a whole evening fighting with it before I gave up and threw it out too. Sometimes the convenience just isn't worth the headache of setup problems that never get solved.
