My aunt gave me a half-eaten fruitcake from 2018 for Christmas last year

I opened this box under the tree and it was literally a fruitcake with a slice missing and some mold on the edge. She wrapped it in old newspaper and put a bow on it. I counted and there were 14 other gifts under her tree that were actual new things from the store. She told me with a straight face that she saved it special for me because she knows I like vintage stuff. I don't even like fruitcake at all. My cousin got a new blender from her and I got her trash from three years ago. Has anyone else gotten a gift that was clearly just something they were trying to get rid of?

Hold up, is it really that big of a deal? I mean yeah it's weird she gave you an old moldy cake, but it's also kind of a funny story. You got a free blender memory out of it, honestly. I'd just toss it, laugh about it with your family, and not let it ruin your whole holiday. Doesn't she do nice stuff for you other times?
