Did you hang them up on the wall somewhere? I got a thimble collection once and putting them on display actually made it look pretty cool.

Haha oh man, my grandma was really into spoons too! I swear I read somewhere that decorative spoon collecting was huge in the 70s and 80s but now people mostly just find them at thrift stores for a dollar. Honestly, I kinda dig it as a quirky wall display though, better than just shoving them in a drawer somewhere.

Better than shoving them in a drawer somewhere" - I actually disagree on that one. I think a drawer is exactly where a decorative spoon collection belongs. If your aunt gave you one spoon, that's a nice little trinket to set on a shelf or whatever. But a whole collection of them? Thats just a bunch of metal objects with no real purpose taking up wall space. They collect dust and you have to dust around all the little spoon bowls and handles. At least in a drawer theyre out of sight and out of mind until you forget you even have them.
