My date left me at a diner in Reno because I said hello to my ex, and I think I was right to stay
We were at a diner off Virginia Street in Reno two Fridays ago, and my ex walked in with her sister. I gave a quick nod and said hey, nothing more, and my date went cold. She said I should have ignored her completely, then grabbed her bag and walked out before the fries even came. Everyone I tell this to says I should have chased her to the parking lot, but I think walking out over a two second hello says more about her than me. Am I really the bad guy for not pretending someone I dated for two years does not exist?
