Read an article about a guy who got stuck in a similar situation on the Beartooth Plateau. He said the worst part wasn't the cold, but the constant noise of the wind and not being able to see more than a few feet. Makes you respect how fast conditions can change up there.

That wind noise thing @jordan77 says is like bad office air conditioning, always there.

Actually the Beartooth Plateau is in Wyoming, not Montana. That wind noise is brutal though.
