Why I started focusing on niche backlinks instead of general ones
I was trying to get more backlinks for my shop's site, so I reached out to a bunch of general directories. I mean, I thought any link would help, right? But after a few months, my traffic didn't budge much. Then, I got a backlink from a local business association website, and suddenly I saw more calls. It hit me that links from related and trusted places matter way more. Now I only go for backlinks in my niche, like from home improvement blogs or local trade sites. Idk, maybe it's just me, but focusing on quality over quantity made all the difference.
