Vent: Guest posting site in India burned me on 3 placements

Found a blog through a recommendation, paid $150 for two guest posts with dofollow links. He took the money, posted the articles, then removed the links after a week without telling me. Anyone else run into this bait and switch?

Wait, you paid $150 for just two posts? That seems like a lot for guest posts on an Indian blog (no offense to Indian blogs, but the exchange rate usually works in your favor there). I'd be checking if that blog even has real traffic before worrying about the links.
