Tried HARO vs direct blogger outreach for 90 days
Honestly, HARO gave me a ton of links but they were from low tier sites that didn't move my traffic at all. Direct outreach to 10 niche bloggers got me 3 placements on real sites with actual referral traffic. Has anyone else noticed a huge quality gap between the two?

Bettering your domain authority requires both quantity of links and targeted outreach for real SEO growth.

Quantity matters but its way more about getting links from sites that actually match your niche than just grabbing any random backlink. A link from a random directory site barely moves the needle compared to one from a respected blog in your industry. Targeted outreach is where the real work happens, like actually talking to site owners and finding ways to add value to their content first. People forget that one high quality link can pull more weight than ten low effort ones. Plus Google's algorithm is getting smarter at spotting link spam, so building genuine relationships matters more than ever.
