Traded 15 blog comments for a real .edu link and it worked better than I thought
I spent last month dropping genuine comments on 15 different university blog posts about accounting software. I figured it was a long shot but one professor actually linked back to my article on small business bookkeeping. Got a referral traffic bump of about 30 visits in the first week from that single link. Has anyone else had luck with a really specific niche like that?

Yeah it's wild how the small specific stuff works better than the broad generic outreach, kind of like how the best tips I've gotten at work came from one old cook who only talks about sauces. It's that whole "go deep not wide" thing you see everywhere when you start paying attention.

Count the 30 visits against your time spent typing those comments and see if it's really worth it.
