Found an old blog post from 2018 that still pulls in backlinks every month
I was digging through my site's old content last week and found a guide I wrote about fixing rusty fence posts. It was buried on page 3 of my blog. I updated the images and added some current stats, then shared it in a few homesteading forums. Got 4 new backlinks in 2 days from people who found it useful. The post has been sitting there for six years doing nothing. Anyone else have old content that's been collecting dust...

That old content is basically free traffic you've been leaving on the table... I started going through my archive last month and found a few posts that just needed a refresh and a new link or two. Seriously worth the couple hours it took.

Free traffic you've been leaving on the table" - that got me thinking about that old blog post I wrote about my shed falling apart. Took me an afternoon to rewrite it last year and suddenly people were actually commenting on it again. Ended up sparking a whole new series about outdoor repairs that I never planned.
