Chat with a pro blogger in Austin made me rethink my whole link strategy
I was talking to this guy who runs a niche food blog and he said he only does manual outreach now, no more automated tools. He got 3 high-quality links from .edu sites just by offering to write guest posts for free. Has anyone else had better results ditching the software and doing it old school?

Wait, does this mean I've been wasting all those hours spamming "great content!" on random blogs with my bot? Seriously though, manual outreach sounds like a nightmare for someone like me who can barely keep track of my own email inbox without accidentally replying to my grandma's spam folder. I'd probably end up sending a guest post pitch to the wrong person and somehow offering to groom their dog instead of write for their site.
