Wasted $80 on a 'romantic' cooking class that was actually a team building thing

I booked this couple's pasta making class for a first date, thought it'd be cute. Turns out it was a corporate team building event with 14 coworkers from a dental office, and my date has a gluten allergy. We left after 20 minutes, and the classes are non refundable. Has anyone else accidentally signed up for something way off from the listing?
