That $60 dinner where I learned he only eats beige food
I went on a date last month to a nice Italian place in Austin, spent about $60 on pasta and wine. The guy ordered a plain chicken breast with no sauce, no seasoning, just dry chicken. He spent the whole meal complaining that my carbonara looked "weird" because it had green stuff in it (parsley). I paid my half and left. Has anyone else run into someone with a super limited palate on a date?

Wait, isn't carbonara traditionally made without parsley though? I've just always seen it with eggs, cheese, and pancetta, so that part might be on the chef, not him.

Ngl, is it really that deep though?

But isn't not knowing how to make it the real problem here?
