Sat at Northside Tavern for 40 minutes before realizing she left out the back door

Met this girl from Tinder at Northside Tavern in Atlanta last Friday. She said she was going to the bathroom around 15 minutes in. I waited, ordered another beer, checked my phone, waited some more. After 40 minutes I asked the bartender if she saw a girl with a red jacket leave, and she pointed to the back door that leads to the parking lot. Has anyone else had someone ghost you while still sitting at the table with you?

Wait, you went to Northside Tavern and didn't try their wings? I gotta say though, that place is a maze with that back door setup, I've walked out the wrong way myself a couple times. In my experience, a 40 minute bathroom break is never just a bathroom break, especially when there's a hidden exit involved. I'd probably take it as a clear sign she wasn't feeling it, even if she had some excuse about getting lost or feeling sick.

My friend Jen had this happen once at a brewery downtown. She went to the bathroom and somehow ended up outside in the alley behind the place, couldn't figure out how to get back in for like 20 minutes lol. Came back to her date sitting there with his coat on, ready to leave. He never really believed her story either and they didn't go out again. She still swears it was an accident but honestly who knows with those weird old buildings and their back exits.
