Hit 10 awkward first dates in a row and it made me realize something...

After my last date, I counted and realized I've had 10 first dates in the past 6 months that never led to a second one. The weirdest one was last week when the guy spent 20 minutes showing me his rock collection on his phone. It mattered because I finally saw the pattern... I was just saying yes to anyone who asked without really thinking. Has anyone else hit a weird number that made you change your whole dating approach?

Ghosting after lizard photos is just a bad excuse, not the real reason.

My cousin got ghosted after sending a picture of his messy garage last year. It feels like people just grab the first easy excuse they see instead of being honest. @the_betty is onto something about the real reason being hidden. We see this all the time with canceling plans or ending friendships over tiny things.
