Ribbon cable on a King Air 200 bit me at 2am in Wichita
Had a flap position indicator going intermittent on a King Air 200 out of Wichita last Tuesday, and I chased it for 4 hours before pulling the connector at the spar. One of the pins in the cannon plug was backing out of the shell, looked fine on a tug test but failed the wiggle check every time. I don't trust a multimeter alone on these anymore, I want hands on the harness. Anybody got a trick for spotting a creeping pin before it strands a crew on a ramp at 2am?
