Rant: my test bench hit 500 logged squawks and half of them were the same pitot heat issue

I started keeping a tally on the whiteboard in the avionics bay at our hangar in Wichita back in January, and watching it cross 500 last week made me realize we keep fixing the same three problems instead of finding the root cause. Has anyone else noticed a handful of repeat squawks eating up most of the workload, and did you ever get anyone to actually chase down why?
