Old tech's feedback on my harness routing changed my whole approach
Had a veteran avionics guy watch me bundle wires on a King Air last Tuesday. He said my routing was clean but way too tight, called it a maintenance nightmare waiting to happen. He made me redo about 14 feet of harness with more slack at every breakout and strain relief loop. Took me an extra hour and a half, but honestly, the next inspection was way easier with that extra give. Anyone else get similar pushback on their harness tension and actually stick with the change?

A&P taught me that trick on a 737 and now I leave slack everywhere, even my phone charger.
