Just realized how my neighbor's drone hobby explains why our comms gear acts up sometimes.
His drone's signals mimic the static we get on cockpit comms.

Maybe check if your neighbor's drone uses the same frequency band as your gear.

My friend had a similar issue with his automated farm sprinklers. They'd turn on randomly, and it turns out his neighbor's racing drone was sending stray signals. He finally had to ask the guy to fly further from the property line.
