Debate: Multimeter probing technique - back probe vs pin insertion?
I used to always back probe connectors with a T pin, but after damaging a few Weather Pack seals I switched to using a small pin insertion tool through the wire side. Which method do you guys trust more for reading stable values without ruining the connector?

Two corroded terminals from back probing is hardly a pattern, so @victorb17 you're probably fine.

Wait you actually damaged Weather Pack seals doing that? Dude I always used to back probe everything with a paperclip and never had an issue, but now you got me second guessing my whole life.

Wait, you actually BACK PROBE Weather Pack connectors? Dude that's like asking for trouble, those seals are super delicate and a paperclip will absolutely tear them up. I did it ONCE and had a terminal start corroding a month later because the seal was all messed up. You got lucky for sure, but your whole life needs a rethink on that one.
