TIL those old Snap-On socket trays fit perfectly in mechanic's tool cart drawers

I was at a garage sale in Portland last weekend and spotted a beat-up set of Snap-On socket trays for $10. Brought them to work and they dropped right into my cart without any modification needed. Has anyone else found random garage sale stuff that actually works better than new organizers?

Yeah those old Snap-On trays are basically built for life.

Hold on though. Is it really that deep? It's a tool, not a time capsule. You're acting like it's going to sit in your garage and watch you slowly fade away. Worst case it gets banged up, loses a drawer, and ends up at a garage sale for twenty bucks. I'd be more worried about my knees or my back outlasting me, not a toolbox. Maybe I'm just not sentimental about metal drawers.
