TIL a zip tie trick for stubborn brake caliper brackets
Spent 45 mins fighting a seized slider pin on a 2012 Civic yesterday, then used a zip tie to hold the boot back while I hit it with a impact driver, popped right out. Anyone else got a weird trick like this that saves them time on rusty clips?

Saw a guy on a mechanic sub use a cut-up soda can as a shim for worn caliper slides, works like a charm.
