That shop charged you $200 for a loose bolt? Did they at least give you a breakdown of what that money was for, like labor vs a "diagnostic fee"? Because if they just tightened a bolt and handed you a bill, I'd be asking for the itemized receipt and maybe calling them out on it.

Hold on a second, I gotta say something because that's not really an "oil leak" if it's just a loose bolt. A mystery leak is when you can't find where it's coming from after checking all the usual spots like gaskets and seals. A loose valve cover bolt isn't a mystery, it's just the easiest fix there is. I mean, I bet you could have tightened that bolt for free and saved your $200 for something else. Maybe it's just me, but a shop that charges you for diagnosing a loose bolt sounds like they took advantage of you not knowing better. Still, at least it wasn't a timing cover gasket or something way more expensive.
