Swapped my 1/2 inch impact for a 3/8 after 10 years. Should have done it sooner.

Ha! Yeah, but here's the thing, did you actually fix it right the first time, or did you just patch it and pray? Cause I'm wondering if everyone who's been chirping about this actually swapped the whole assembly or if they're just running on luck and zip ties.
