Snapped a caliper bolt on a 2013 F-150 and had to tell the customer it was my fault
I was doing rear brakes on a 2013 F-150 in the shop on Tuesday when the lower caliper bolt seized and the head sheared right off. I had to call the customer and admit I broke it, then spent 3 hours drilling it out and retapping the hole while he waited in the lobby. Do you guys bill the customer for a bolt you snapped, or eat the time and just tell them it was frozen when it came in?
