I finally listened to a customer about my write-up method
After three years of doing it my way, a woman at the counter told me my notes looked like a doctor's prescription slip and I started writing step-by-step bullet points instead, and now my comeback rate on misdiagnosed rumbles dropped by half that same month, anyone else get feedback that actually helped?

Stick with the bullet points. I switched to a two line checklist format six years ago and my repeat customers went way up.

Wait, did your friend ever try that checklist thing? My buddy Mike switched to a simple numbered list for his bike repair shop and stopped getting people coming back saying he missed stuff.
