Hit 200k miles on my personal truck this morning and it felt weird

I've been wrenching for 12 years and always thought 200k was just a number, but seeing that odometer flip on my own Silverado that I've maintained since 80k hit different. Anyone else get weirdly attached to a specific milestone on a vehicle you've worked on yourself?

Flip it around on you a little. 200k on a truck you've babied since 80k is a victory lap for your own maintenance skills. But I see it different. I bought my old F-150 at 190k and it already felt like a wounded animal. That first 100 miles was a slow death march. I spent more time under the hood than behind the wheel. By the time I hit 200k I was just relieved it hadn't left me stranded on a highway ramp. No attachment, just a countdown to the next thing that's gonna break.

200k on a truck you bought at 190k? I mean, what did you really expect from a vehicle with almost 200k miles already on it. Thats like buying a used couch and getting mad the cushions are lumpy.
