Stopped by the old Pick-a-Part junkyard in Bakersfield and saw they've started crushing whole rows of '90s cars for scrap.
I mean, it's just harder to find good, straight donor panels for older jobs now, so where are you guys sourcing parts for those classic restorations?

Man, that's a bummer to hear. What's the go-to spot for you now when you need something specific? I had to hunt for a clean fender for my buddy's '95 last month and it was a nightmare. Ended up finding one through a guy in a Facebook group who was parting out a shell in his backyard, lol. The local yards just don't keep that stuff around anymore.

Honestly @the_reese, that line about the local yards not keeping stuff around anymore hits hard. Tbh I've had the same problem trying to find parts for my old truck. My go-to now is just joining every single model-specific Facebook group I can find. It's all about waiting for someone to post a part-out. Ngl it takes patience and you get some weird messages, but I found a whole tailgate last year from a guy three states over who shipped it.

So you're the guy buying parts from sketchy backyards?
