Spent 6 years doing filler work on bumpers wrong before a guy named Jake at a shop in Toledo set me straight

I used to just rough up the plastic with sandpaper and call it good. Jake watched me do one and asked if I ever used adhesion promoter. I said what is that. He handed me a can of Bulldog and my repairs stopped peeling after 3 months. Has anyone else had that moment where a pro pointed out something basic you missed?

Thin coats with Bulldog, let it flash right, then you're golden.

@kai_butler83's got a point about that Bulldog being like sticky sandpaper. I used it once on a chair I was refinishing and thought I was being clever by slathering it on thick. Three years later that chair was still tacky to the touch and collecting more dust than a vacuum cleaner. Flash times are real, I guess.

Oh man, Bulldog is the truth but you gotta be careful with it. That stuff is basically liquid sandpaper in a can, if you lay it on too thick it can actually make things worse over time. Good save though, Jake sounds like a real one for hooking you up with that tip.
