Shoutout to the guy who insisted his 'custom purple pearl' was just a rattle can job from AutoZone
Had a dude roll into my shop in Columbus last month swearing I'd try to upsell him on a real paint job. He pointed at his fender and said 'that's 24 bucks of color right there'. I had to show him the runs just so he'd believe me. Anybody else get folks who think they can spot a pro job from 50 feet away?

Right?! @barbaraw47 that's exactly what I'm saying, a $24 can of purple from Autozone ain't fooling anyone with eyeballs. I had a guy last month swear his faded rattle can job was 'factory custom' and I just had to laugh and show him the drips lmao.

Has @xena_fox39's buddy been having any trouble with the paint sticking or peeling off? I feel bad for them, that's a tough way to learn. Hope it works out better than expected.
