Went up to Mount Rainier last month and the view of the Milky Way was insane, but I almost missed it because of my camera settings.

Been there. I once spent an hour trying to get a shot of the moon and it just looked like a blurry potato.

What if the blurry potato look is kind of cool, though?

My old point-and-shoot camera did the same thing. It's so frustrating when you can't get the focus right.
