My star tracker got stuck on a single setting for a whole night in Flagstaff

I was trying to capture the North America Nebula last week, but my tracker's altitude lock jammed at 35 degrees and wouldn't budge. It took me over two hours of fiddling with the adjustment knob in the dark before I finally got it free, which ruined my imaging run. Has anyone else had a tracker axis just seize up like that on a cold night?

That altitude lock can freeze up in the cold, not just jam from over-tightening.

Altitude lock" is the clutch, not a setting.

Exactly. It's a physical thing you do, not some menu option you click. People get that mixed up all the time.
