Just lost a whole night's imaging session because I didn't check the dew point forecast.

My entire Orion Nebula capture from last night is a blurry mess, which means I wasted about 4 hours and the $30 in gas I spent driving out to the dark sky site.

Feel like modern life is just a long series of forgetting to check one tiny, critical detail. Missed a flight once because I read the departure time wrong by one hour on the itinerary. That sinking feeling is the worst. How do you even start to prevent those little oversights?
