Vent: Took me 11 months to figure out why my kitchen faucet sprayed sideways
Bought a house in March, and the kitchen faucet had this weird spray pattern from day one. Water shot off at an angle, made a mess every time I washed dishes. Replaced the aerator twice, cleaned it with vinegar, even took the whole head apart. Finally broke down and called a plumber last week. He took one look, pulled the supply lines, and found the hot water line was kinked under the sink from a cabinet screw that was too long. 30 seconds to fix. Eleven months of cursing that faucet. Has anyone else had a hidden simple fix hide behind something dumb like that?

That screw was the culprit all along and I can feel your pain from here. We had a washing machine that thumped for six months before someone noticed the shipping bolts were still in the back. One wrench and ten minutes later it was quiet as a church mouse. It's always the dumbest thing that gets you. Glad you finally got it sorted.

Wish I could blame a screw, but my dryer drum sounds like it's hosting a drum solo every time I use it, lol.
