The $9 magnetic key holder on my fridge solved a 3 month lockout streak

I kept losing my apartment keys somewhere between my car and the mailbox in Austin, so I stuck one of those cheap strip magnets by the door and now I haven't called my landlord once, has anyone else found a dumb little fix that beat a bigger problem?
