Scheduling client cleanings with a paper planner vs my phone, night and day difference

I ran my cleaning business for 3 years using a paper planner. Every Sunday I'd write out the week. Then I double booked two houses last March because I forgot to flip the page. Now I use a shared Google Calendar with color coded blocks. Customers get automatic reminders too. Cut my missed appointments from 2 a month to zero in 4 months. Has anyone else switched from paper to digital and seen their schedule chaos drop?
