PSA: My old boss told me to stop folding my shirts after laundry and it still bugs me
I worked at a small clothing store in Boise for about 8 months and one slow Tuesday my manager watched me fold a stack of t-shirts and said, "You're folding them like they're going in a drawer, not a display." So I had to redo 40 shirts with this weird front-facing method where the logo shows and the sleeves tuck behind. It took me an extra 20 minutes that shift but customers actually started picking up the ones I folded instead of the pile next to them. Now I fold everything that way at home out of habit and my dresser looks like a store shelf. Does anyone else have a random work tip that followed them home years later?
