I finally tracked down a guy from a bus stop conversation 12 years ago

Back in 2013 I was waiting for the 72 bus in Portland and this older dude just starts talking about how he fixed his own washing machine with a paperclip and some duct tape. I remember thinking this guy was crazy. Last week I saw him at a hardware store and asked if he remembered me. He just laughed and said he tells everyone that story. It's wild how one random chat can stick with you for over a decade. Anybody else ever run into a stranger years later?

72 bus doesn't go through Portland, it runs the other direction.

Just started taking the 74 instead when I need to go that way, it's been way more reliable.
