Just found a 200-year-old coin while digging in my backyard last weekend

I was putting in a new flower bed near the fence and my shovel hit something metal, turned out to be an 1838 large cent in rough shape. Has anyone else stumbled across old coins or artifacts just doing regular yard work?

Honestly im kinda skeptical it's that big of a deal. People find old coins all the time and most of them are worth like $20 tops unless they're in mint condition. You said yours is rough shape so that's probably just a cool conversation piece not some treasure find. Plus 1838 large cents aren't exactly rare they minted millions of them back then. Cool for the backyard story though.
