I snapped my trowel in half at a dig near Tucson and the site lead just stared at me
Two weeks back I was scraping a wall trench at a site outside Tucson when my trowel caught a root and the blade snapped clean at the tang, right in front of the site lead. Instead of telling her I just grabbed a stick and kept scraping so I wouldn't look clueless, which of course made the whole layer look like a raccoon dug through it. Do you all carry a backup trowel on site or am I just being cheap for not having one?
