Hit my 200th stump grinding job this week without a dent

I've been running a little Vermeer for two years, and last Tuesday I pulled up to a nasty oak stump in Austin that had me nervous. Finished it clean with no damage to the machine or the client's lawn, and that made 200 jobs without a single accident. Anyone else keep a quiet tally of small milestones like this?

My buddy runs a tree service and he dented his first machine on job 201, so 200 is impressive.

That "zen and the art of stump grinding" line got me thinking, @stella_murray. You know how some jobs just force you to slow down and pay attention? It's like that with a lot of stuff we rush through every day, like folding laundry or washing dishes. We're so busy trying to finish that we miss the point of the doing itself. Makes me wonder if we're all just grinding our way through life without stopping to look at the roots.
