Hit 1,000 tree removals last Tuesday, felt weirdly empty

I've been running my own crew out of Asheville for about 8 years now, and we finally crossed the 1,000 removal mark. Kept a spreadsheet since day one for insurance reasons, so the number is solid. I thought it'd feel like a bigger deal, but honestly the 900th removal had a gnarlier hinge cut on a leaning white oak, that one stuck with me more. Anyone else track their removal count like that, or is it just me being obsessive about data?

A thousand trees and you expected confetti? Sounds like you ran out of milestones, not trees. Just wait until 2,000, then you can really feel nothing in style.
