Had to choose between a bucket truck and a rope setup for a tight residential job yesterday

Picked the rope because I figured I could save time not hauling gear around. Ended up taking twice as long fighting through branches, the bucket would've been way faster. Anyone else run into this and just wish they'd gone with the machine?

Machine wins every time" pretty much sums up my whole approach to life lately.

Rope setups sound smart until you're an hour in and still fighting limbs. Did the same thing last spring on a back yard job, spent the whole afternoon untangling myself from a maple tree. Machine wins every time when there's overhead clutter.

@margaret_kelly55 that maple tree probably had it out for you too...
