Had a day last week where every single cut went perfectly

I was trimming a big red oak in Brookline, Massachusetts, and everything just lined up. The rope slides were clean, my notch cuts landed exactly where I wanted them, and the hinge wood held right to the last second. Three big limbs down in under an hour, no wrestling or second tries. Has anyone else had a day like that where the tree just seems to cooperate?

Can't believe you got three perfect cuts in Brookline of all places.

Oh man, I gotta say something real quick - it's actually Brookline Village, not Brookline proper. I know it sounds like I'm being picky but they're actually different towns with separate town halls and everything. The Village is this little pocket near the Boston line with all the old houses and that cute main street. Brookline itself is way bigger and has a totally different feel, more urban and busy. I only know this because I used to get them mixed up all the time when I first moved here. So yeah, three perfect cuts is still wild no matter which Brookline you're in though.

Holy cow, yes! I had that happen last fall on a silver maple in my neighbor's yard. Every cut dropped exactly where I aimed it, no snagging or hanging up. The whole thing came down in maybe forty five minutes and I just stood there staring at the pile like it was magic. Those days are rare but they feel incredible when they happen.
