Finally tried a silky saw over my old folding hand saw
Been using the same folding saw for years and finally grabbed a Silky Zubat on a job in Austin last week. Cut through a 12 inch live oak branch in maybe 30 seconds compared to the 2 minutes of wrestling before. Anyone else notice a huge speed difference switching saws?

Zubat is a total game changer for sure. Night and day difference cutting anything over 4 inches. Makes you wonder why you put up with the old one so long.

You're paying a lot for that speed gain though... my old Bahco still gets the job done fine for most stuff under 6 inches and I don't cry about dropping it off a ladder.
